The composition is based on Giotto di Bondone's painting "Joachim's Dream."

I used pen and ink, ink wash, watercolor, and collage.

Thank you. I made this for my class assignment. Because most artists tend to accept an anime-style drawing as only an illustration, I wanted to combine both anime-style and traditional style. However, most of my classmates still thought the people could be more realistic and not cartoony

The problem is when you are forced to do something you don't fell, for school or anything else. I left my fine art academy for this reason, I was not allowed to do what I really loved.
Also the best artists are the ones who have broken the rules, aren't they?
